Portfolio
The Portfolio functionality is only available for InLoox Enterprise Plus and InLoox Self-Hosted Editions.
You need the user permission setting for portfolios in order to use this feature. Go to InLoox Settings → User Management and activate the Portfolio setting for the InLoox users who need it. You may need to contact your InLoox admin to do this for you.
The portfolio feature allows you to bundle individual projects into a portfolio. InLoox lets you add project proposals or projects to a portfolio. In the list view, you can use columns to filter, sort, and group your portfolio according to your individual KPIs.
Create a project portfolio
- In the menu, click on Portfolios.
- Click the New Portfolio button and enter the name of the new portfolio.
- Select project proposals from the Project Proposals tab or projects from the Projects tab. Use the search field to type in the name of the request or project, select it, and then click Add to Portfolio.
On the left side, you see the list of portfolios and can click through them to view the requests and projects in each one.
Filter, sort, and group portfolios
You can filter and sort both the list of portfolios on the left and the list of requests and projects within a portfolio on the right. On the right side, in addition to sorting and filtering, an individual portfolio can also be grouped.
First, select useful columns with KPIs for your list by right-clicking a column header to open the column menu. You can find a detailed description of all available columns in portfolios in the column overview article.
To filter and group columns, you must switch to Advanced Mode if you have previously deactivated it.
Sort data in a column
Simply click a column header to sort its data.
Filter data in columns
You can either click the filter icon next to the column name, or use the Filter Builder for advanced filters.
Group by one or more columns
Drag and drop one or more columns into the field labeled Drag a column header here to group by that column. The order of the columns determines the grouping order.
For more details, see the help article on grouping, filtering, and sorting list views.
