Planning Snapshot

Available since InLoox 11.14

The snapshot feature in the Gantt planning allows you to record the current state of the Gantt plan. Use it to visualize changes and delays of activities, summary activities, and milestones over time.

Create, Show, Hide, or Delete a Snapshot

  1. Open a project in InLoox Web App and click Planning. Click the snapshot icon at the top.

  4. To show or hide the snapshot, click the snapshot icon at the top and toggle the slider next to the created snapshot.

  5. To delete a snapshot, click the snapshot icon and then the red trash can icon next to the snapshot you want to remove. InLoox will ask you to confirm the deletion.

Information in the Snapshot

If you hover the cursor over a planning element in a snapshot, you'll see:

  • Delay warnings — for elements that have shifted later
  • Overrun warnings — for elements that exceed their planned duration

All planning elements in the snapshot that cause delays or overruns are colored red, allowing you to immediately identify which changes have led to project delays and by how much.

If changes result in time savings, the affected snapshot elements are colored green.

tip
  • You can display up to three snapshots simultaneously in the planning.
  • If the snapshot display is too small, increase the row height in the Gantt chart. Click the dots on the right and select row height Large or Very large.
