Sending telemetry data to InLoox

If you want to help develop InLoox according to user needs, you can allow InLoox to use telemetry data. By default, sending telemetry data is disabled.

You can only change this setting if telemetry data transmission is enabled for the InLoox account under Organization > General > Privacy settings.

  1. In InLoox Web App, click on your profile picture in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click on Account Settings.
  3. Click on Personal.
  4. Under Privacy settings, enable the Send telemetry data slider.

InLoox saves the change automatically.

Administrators can enable or disable the following settings for the entire InLoox account.

Enable personal setting "Send telemetry data"

  1. In InLoox Web App, click on your profile picture in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click on Account Settings.
  3. Click on Organization.
  4. Click on the General tab.
  5. Under Privacy settings, activate the Enable privacy settings slider.

This setting does not mean that all telemetry data from all users is sent automatically. It means that every individual InLoox user can activate the transmission of their own telemetry data in their personal settings.

Activate user invitation to the account

  1. In InLoox Web App, click your profile picture in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click Account Settings.
  3. Click User Management.
  4. Under Invitations, activate the slider at Allow users to invite other users.
  5. In the field below, you can restrict user invitations to specific email domains.

If you deactivate this setting, only persons with administrator rights can invite others to the InLoox account.

Allow AI assistance

InLoox can use Artificial Intelligence (AI) for certain functions. This AI functionality is provided by Microsoft's Azure OpenAI service, with data centers located within the European Union.

Key data protection guarantees:

  • A supplemental agreement with Microsoft ensures that data provided is neither recorded nor used for model training.
  • Azure OpenAI processes data only at the time of the request and does not store it permanently.
  • InLoox data is not used for model training.

Administrators can enable or disable AI support for the entire account at any time:

  1. In InLoox Web App, click on your profile picture in the upper-right corner.
  2. Click Account Settings.
  3. Click on Organization.
  4. Under Privacy Settings, toggle the Allow AI assistance slider.
