People & Contacts

The People section in InLoox Web App is where you manage all contacts associated with your account.

Getting Started

If you are new to InLoox Web App, this section will be empty except for your own contact entry and, if applicable, the person who invited you.

Microsoft 365 Contact Synchronization

If you have connected your InLoox account to Microsoft 365, you can enable synchronization with your Outlook contacts under InLoox Account Settings → Integrations → Microsoft 365 Integration. These contacts will then appear in People.

If you use InLoox Web App together with InLoox for Outlook on a shared database and your Outlook contacts have already been imported, those contacts will also be visible in InLoox Web App. These entries are not automatically InLoox users — to assign them an InLoox user account, click on the contact entry and then click Invite.

Permissions

By default, you can only edit your own contact entry in People, but you can view all entries.

tip

We recommend assigning the global user permission Edit People to a limited group of users only.

Customizing the People List

You can customize the People list by adding or removing columns to display the information most relevant to you.
